Foot Bath Color Chart

The following foot bath color chart is only provided as a reference. The chart is not provided as an exact explanation as to what is happening as you take your foot bath. What you are looking for is the sediment and color of the sediment left as a residue ring around the foot bath liner after you have emptied the water out of the tub's liner.

As the article, "The Science" indicated, color and sediment during a foot bath can be caused by such things as the mineral content and what the city is putting in the water on any given day. This is why even when someone does not put their feet in the water they begin to see water color change and sediment build up. Also, the ionization process is working just on the plates. The plates will wear out much sooner (plates good for 60 foot baths under normal use).

Another thing you should be aware of: It has been scientifically proven (called Bohr's Law) that you need at least a 13.6 volt source for proper ionization to occur. Out foot baths come with a 24 volt power source. Many imports and some America produced foot baths only have a 12 volt power source. Therefore, the best many of these foot baths can produce is change the color of the water. These foot baths using a 12 volt or less power source provide little to no ionization, thereby, giving you a very inferior to no detox foot bath at all. Something you did not expect.
