Better Health Lab, Inc. produces a line of Antioxidant Water Fountains in the USA, starting with the BHL-2100. We called these machines Water Ionizers, which is how many people refer to them. They have been called microwater machines, restructured water machines, etc. In fact they are electrolysis machines, with a pre-filter. Most importantly, what they produce is antioxidant water, so we prefer to call them antioxidant water fountains. And by the way, they also produce an oxidized (acidic) water, which is good as a mild astringent.
We are strongly devoted to the belief that these machines represent the water treatment of the future. The most serious issue in water treatment is the oxidation of the water, which is not altered by filtration alone. High Performance Filter
The standard filter which comes with the machine provides mechanical filtration down to 1 micron, and is otherwise based on Granular Activated Caron, for efficient removal of chlorine and organic chemicals. Contact your distributor or BHL for pre-filters to address other water quality issues, including fluoride, heavy metals, sediment etc, and how to identify water quality issues in your area.

This advanced microprocessor based control system is the brains of your Antioxidant Water Fountain. It lets you control most functions with just one touch. This computer's self-diagnosing features include monitoring of quality, quantity, and temperature of water, as well as power regulation.

Note: Please pay attention to the water conditions that are required: a "normal" city drinking water with a reasonable level of dissolved solids (TDS). Very simply, pure H2O does not support electrolysis. Electrolytes are needed for the functioning of the electrolysis process.
If you are convinced that you must use R/O or distilled water, please consider using our AlkaZone(r) Alkaline Booster, for your body needs those electrolytes. We feel however that you should consider that those forms of water treatment not only rob your body of valuable electrolytes, they do not solve the oxidation problem, so you are continuing to drink oxidized water (high ORP), instead of antioxidant water from electrolysis!
Note 2: The calcium chamber of the filter is inherited from regulations by the Japanese Health ministry, because it was once believed that the mineral content of the water was the crucial health benefit. We now know that it is in fact the antioxidant properties of the water which are the great value of this technology. In general American water contains more calcium than Japanese water, so adding more calcium is unnecessary in every respect.
Features Of Ionized Water
1) Smaller Cluster Size
Motility improves when the molecular cluster is smaller. Small clusters make it easier to dissolute and excrete waste matter within the body. This fact is important because excess waste matter is the reason for aging and disease. Alkaline ionized water has small clusters with high motility and dissolute, so you excrete waste matter from the body rapidly.
2) Abundant active mineral
Minerals are also called inorganic matter or mineral matter. There are many kinds of minerals. They are found in animals and vegetables, food and water. These minerals smoothen our living activities and maintain a balance.

3) Good restoration
- Controls saprogenic bacteria in organs and increases beneficial bacteria.
There are about 100 kinds of bacteria, up to a trillion microorganisms living in the large intestine, and are classified as both beneficial and harmful depending on the bacteria species. Alkaline ionized water controls the saprogenic bacteria to prevent disease. Alkaline ionized water is the only water that can restore and help beneficial bacteria in the body.
- Eliminates active oxygen
Active oxygen is oxygen that easily bonds or combines with surrounding substances. Active oxygen is unstable and therefore has with fewer electrons. The active oxygen possesses higher oxidizing power, and is related directly to aging and disease.
4) Abundant hexagonal water
Water molecules consist of 13 ~ 15 molecules. Hexagonal water, water clustered with 6 water molecules, is the most stable and natural to the human body. One human body cell molecule is connected to about 70,000, 60~65% of them are hexagonal water molecules. The body favors this kind of water. The cell that suffers with diseases has less hexagonal water.
